On the second Wednesday of each month we have a meeting for members and visitors at 10:00am.  We talk about upcoming activities, plan future activities, and vote on any decisions that need to be made.  Childcare is provided by members volunteering each month, but children are always welcome to sit with their moms during the meeting too.  Visitors are highly encouraged to attend to get more information about the club.  We follow the meetings with a special speaker or a discussion for the moms.  Contact the Membership VP for more information and the location.  We are looking forward to seeing you at this months Monthly Social!

 

 

Recent Meeting Discussions

Special Speaker from Kent County Healthy Start showed a short video and talked briefly about the services they provide for new parents in Kent County.

 

Michael’s Craft Store joined us to help us get ready for the Holiday Season by teaching us to make photo ornaments and discussed other ideas for “homemade” Christmas presents and crafts.

 

Special Speakers from the Police Department, were available to answer any questions on subjects such as drugs, strangers, car seat safety, gun safety, and making your neighborhood safe.

 

A Dental Assistant came and talked to the children about keeping their mouths healthy.

Special Speaker discussed how to take good pictures of your children. She passed around photo books and gave great ideas and insights into good picture taking.
